Mikel Lee Oliver, 59, passed away peacefully at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene on June 28, 2015.

Mikel was born on June 8, 1956, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Raymond and Louise Oliver.

The Oliver family moved from Albuquerque to Cougar Gulch (south of Coeur d'Alene) in 1966. Mikel has resided primarily in the Coeur d'Alene area. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and in construction.

Mikel was preceded in death by his younger brother, Bryan Louis Oliver, in 2006. He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Louise; his sister, Kathi Oliver; and his loving soulmate, Pam.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 6, at Riverview Cemetery, 1001 Lincoln Way, Coeur d'Alene.
