Showcase Days coming to Coeur d'Alene Resort
Showcase Days, held on July 8 and 22, golf at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course is $125, which includes 18 holes, forecaddie service and use of a custom luxury golf cart.
Showcase Days are more than golf as attendants can demo the latest Nike Golf equipment and a free Nike gift. The package also includes a gallery pass to the Showcase presented by GoPro on Aug. 3.

Individual gallery tickets for the Showcase exhibition are on sale starting on July 6 and can be purchased at www.showcasegolf.com.
The Showcase is a nine-hole exhibition at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course and features professional golfers on the current PGA tour, along with professional athletes, coaches and ESPN personalities.
Celebrity guests will be announced later this month.
Rathdrum native Bayley finishes 39th in Sahalee Players Championship
Derek Bayley, a 2014 graduate of Lakeland High and current Washington State sophomore, shot a 12-over 300 to finish tied for 39th in the Sahalee Players Championship on Wednesday at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.

for NHL Legends Game
Frontier Ice Arena in Coeur d'Alene will host an NHL Legends Game on July 10 starting at 6 p.m.
Scheduled to appear include Jamie Benn (Dallas Stars), Tyler Johnson (Tampa Bay Lightning, Spokane Chiefs), Brett Hull (third all-time leading scorer in league history) and Wayne Gretzky (all-time leading scorer in NHL history).
Proceeds support non-profit ice arena and youth hockey.

Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Wood Bat Classic
begins today
The annual Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Wood Bat Classic legion baseball tournament begins today with Coeur d'Alene, Prairie and Northern Lakes all in action.
Coeur d'Alene will host Northwest Prairie tonight at 6 p.m., followed by the Bitterroot Red Sox at 8:30 at Thorco Field. Coeur d'Alene will face Idaho Falls on Friday at 6 p.m. and Spokane Expos Red at 8:30 on Friday, then conclude pool play against Edmonton on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Northern Lakes will travel to Jackson Field in Spokane to face Calgary today at 10:30 a.m, then play Abbotsford at 1 p.m. They will also face LaGrande on Friday at 1 p.m., then play the Spokane Cannons at 6.
Prairie will host the Okotoks Dawgs today at 10:30 a.m., then play the Missoula Prospects at 6 p.m. at Post Falls High. Prairie will face the Meridian Rangers at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, then conclude pool play against the Missoula Prospects at 6 p.m.
