Twins win Sapa-Johnsrud baseball tourney

The Glacier Twins A hammered the Spokane Cannons 9-1 to take the title at the annual Sapa-Johnsrud Memorial Tournament in Whitefish.
The win marked the first time in recent history Glacier has won its home tournament.
Pitcher AJ Wetsch went the distance on the mound and Colten Parker went 3 for 3 from the plate to help the team win the championship July 12.
Jayce Fagerland also had a hot bat, going 2 for 3 and Kyler Howke had two RBIs.
The Twins went 4-0 in pool play to make it to the championship.
They beat the Spokane Mead Panthers 9-1 and squeaked past the Lethbridge Elks 3-2 on Saturday to advance. They beat the Spokane Dodgers 2-1 and Spokane Ferris 11-3 in the opening games of the tourney.
The Twins are now 33-10 in American Legion baseball play as they head into the final week of conference games.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
