Swimmers take fifth at Conrad

The Columbia Falls swim team took fifth at the Conrad Invitational last week.
"We had a lot of kids trying new events this weekend to get more exposure and to test the waters before state," said coach Mike Nelson. "There were 305 kids at this meet, the biggest so far this year. We took 40."
Avery Role had another good meet, taking third in high point honors for girls 8 and under. Kaylee King had a solid meet, taking fourth in high point honors for the 9-10 girls.
The boys 8U 100 medley relay team took first with a time of 1:51.06 and the girls 8U 100 freestyle relay won with a time of 1:29.87.
The team travels to Fort Benton this week and then hosts the divisional tournament next week.
