Glacier 15U wins state Babe Ruth title

CONRAD — The Glacier All-Stars won the Montana Babe Ruth 15U State Tournament on Sunday by defeating rival Kalispell 6-2 in the championship game.
Glacier went 5-0 in baseball tournament play, outscoring the opposition 67-7.
Glacier is now 26-6 on the season and advances to the Regional Babe Ruth Tournament in The Dalles, Oregon, July 28-Aug. 2
Austin Green pitched a complete game with no earned runs in the win over Kalispell. He made a diving catch on a foul ball to end the first inning.
Logan Kolodejchuk went 2 for 2 at the plate, Max Smyley had a RBI single and Ryan Thompson clubbed a two-run single in the fifth inning for Glacier.
