WHITEFISH — AJ Pisk pitched seven strong innings and Austin Robins singled in two runs as the Glacier Twins A defeated the Kalispell Lakers A 4-1 on Sunday at Memorial Park.

It was the American Legion baseball regular-season finale for both teams. Up next for the Twins (36-12) and Lakers is the District Tournament, which begins Thursday in Polson.

Kalispell hosts the State A Tournament, starting July 30.

Jonas Nyman had a strong showing at the plate for Kalispell, going 3 for 4.

Jayce Fagerland had two of the Twins’ five hits.

LIBBY — It was a long afternoon for the Libby Loggers as they dropped a Class A doubleheader to the Bitterroot Red Sox.

Bitterroot had a big inning in both outings, scoring 10 runs in the first inning of the shutout and 11 runs in the third inning of the other game.
