15U All-Stars undefeated at state

The Glacier All-Stars won the Montana Babe Ruth 15U State Tournament on Sunday by defeating rival Kalispell 6-2 in the championship game.
Glacier went 5-0 in baseball tournament play, outscoring the opposition 67-7.
Glacier is now 26-6 on the season and advances to the Regional Babe Ruth Tournament in The Dalles, Oregon, July 28-Aug. 2
Austin Green pitched a complete game with no earned runs in the win over Kalispell. He made a diving catch on a foul ball to end the first inning.
Logan Kolodejchuk went 2 for 2 at the plate, Max Smyley had a RBI single and Ryan Thompson clubbed a two-run single in the fifth inning for Glacier.
The team is made up of players from Columbia Falls and Whitefish and Bigfork.
“I’m pretty happy with the boys,” said coach Chad Green. “We’ve got a good group of kids.”
