A motorist accidentally ran over another person’s ankle at about 1 p.m. Monday in front of Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park. The person was unconscious and on the ground for 30 minutes said Park rangers at the scene.
The ALERT helicopter had mechanical problems and was not able to fly, so Three Rivers Aambulance took the injured person to the hospital, which was the reason for the delay in a hospital transport.
