PLAINS – This week Ordelheide Dental will be hosting a free dental care event at the company’s office in Plains.
The first annual event will begin bright and early on Friday, July 24, with registration for the dentistry from the heart event starting at 6:30 a.m.
Dental care at the free event is open to those 18 years and older who will have a choice between receiving a filling, extraction or a cleaning.
Kristi Scott of Ordelheide Dental said the dental care day was designed to provide care to those who can’t get dental care elsewhere.
“The objective of the event is to provide care to patients who haven’t received dental care otherwise,” Scott said.
The clinic will serve patients on a first come first serve basis and run from 7:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.
According to Scott, Ordelheide Dental will serve as many patients as they can.
Scott added three doctors will be on staff along with two hygienists and five assistants.
The Plains Woman’s Club will be on hand in the morning to serve breakfast for those in attendance.
The event will take place at Ordelheide Dental in Plains and the street between the dental office and The Mint will be blocked off for the duration of the event.
