In memory of our beloved mother Dawn L. Sursely.

Dawn Louise Sursely (nee Ross) was called home to be with her Savior on Friday, July 24, 2015. She was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Sauk Centre, Minn., to James C. Ross and Olive I. C. Ross.

She was preceded in death by brother Richard A. Ross of Sauk Centre on July 18, 1970; sister Nancy H. Powers of Twin Lakes, Idaho, on Sept. 2, 2001; brother Dennis L. Ross of Austin, Texas, on Jan. 15, 2008; brother James D. Ross of Sauk Centre on April 23, 2008; and daughter Christine C. Litz of Rathdrum, Idaho, on March 4, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, David Stephan Sursely of Rathdrum; whom she would have been married to for 54 years this Sept. 3. Brother-in-law Gale N. Eggers and sister Karen P. Eggers of Hoffman, Minn.; brother Grant L. Ross and sister-in-law LeAnn S. Ross of Georgetown, Texas; daughter Debra K. McGowan of Twin Lakes; son-in-law Jim M. Lauri and daughter Kim M. Laurie of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; daughter Samantha J. Sursely of Rathdrum; son David T. Sursely of Wichita, Kan.; son-in-law Chad A. Gaylord and Daughter Colleen D. Gaylord of Rathdrum; her 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Dawn will be remembered for the love and care she took of her family, her love of Jesus and the joy she took in caring for her garden. Dawn enjoyed spending her time with her family in her home on Twin Lakes.
