Firefighters from the Evergreen Fire Rescue department set up a fan to dissipate smoke at a structure fire in Evergreen on Thursday, July 30. According to Cpt. James Boyce one of the major concerns with fires like this is the close proximity of other homes and the danger of having the fire spread. The Evergreen Fire Department was joined by a crew from the Kalispell Fire Department. Flathead County Sheriff's Deputies also responded to the scene. (Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake)
