Bernis Daniels, 78, passed away in his home in May 2015.

Bernis was born in Canon City, Colo., to Raymond and Velma Daniels on July 8, 1936.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patty Daniels; daughter Susan Sanchez and son Steven Daniels; grandchildren Ashlee Barnett, Kyle and Kirk Sanchez; great-granddaughter Leah Bosley; sister Nannon Renfro and brother David Daniels.

Bernis faithfully served as a Jehovah's Witness in Fresno, Calif., and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, since his baptism in 1953.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3825 N. Fruitland Lane, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815.
