Phyll Mackey won the Senior Golden Girls Tournament at Cabinet View Golf Course Wednesday evening, shooting a net score of 34. The competition, formerly known as the Grandmothers’ Tournament, featured 16 senior lady golfers from the Cabinet View Ladies League.
Christa Resisinger’s 51 was low enough to take the best gross score. For longest putts, Pat Neils took the Group A prize, with Phyll Mackey dropping it in for Group B. Dee Wright zeroed in on the closest to the pin contest for Group A, with Faye Schoknecht taking the honors in Group B.
Donna Havens was the most accurate putter on the day, securing the least putts prize.
The event was followed by a banquet with the theme of Puttin’ on the Ritz.
