COEUR d'ALENE - The lunch hour will be filled with music this week in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

Beginning Monday, a variety of musicians and performers will show off their skills from noon to 1 p.m. while raising money for Second Harvest Food Bank. This is the second year Coeur d'Alene has participated in the street music fundraiser, which started in Spokane 13 years ago. Last year's event saw the Lake City donate more than $7,000 to the community food bank.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the fundraiser. Organizers ask those interested to check-in and get their donation buckets at the Art Spirit Gallery, 415 E. Sherman Ave., before noon.

Those with questions about the event can contact Jim Lyons at (509) 868-1483.
