"Gramma" Jean Livesay waves to a busload of students on the last day of school on Friday, June 12, in Kalispell. The 86 year old has 21 and soon to be 22 great grandchildren of her own. The morning tradition of waving to students began with her neighbor James Francis and quickly expanded to all students who pass by her home on their way to Russell Elementary.
