Libby Elementary School’s kindergarten students wrapped up their first year of school with a trip to the Troy Fish Pond June 5.

The students, along with their families, enjoyed a day of fun in the sun around the pond. They were able to enjoy the splash park, the soccer field and playground as well as fishing.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks provided fishing poles and biologists to make the adventure both educational and fun for the kids.

Dakota Allen, Hunter Rooney and Tessa Purdy were the fishing champions, landing the biggest fish of the day.
