Quake shakes Bonner County

SANDPOINT — A magnitude-3.1 earthquake was detected on Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of any damage, according to Bob Howard, Bonner County’s director of emergency management.

The temblor occurred at about 9:16 p.m. and was located about 15 miles south-southeast of Sandpoint.
