Carol Jean Norris, beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend, was called into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father May 11, 2015, in the comfort of her home.

Carol was born in Butte, Mont., on Aug. 13, 1945, to Frances and Esther Sever. Carol gave birth to four children in Butte, later relocating her family to Dillon, Mont. In 1989 she moved with her two young sons to the Coeur d'Alene area, and has lived in Post Falls for the past 25 years.

Carol had two main passions in life - her family and worshipping God. She loved getting together for the holidays and barbecuing in the summer. She also loved helping the special needs bowlers with her very special son, Ronnie. Being very involved with her church, she loved Bible study, fellowship and helping with the soup kitchen. She was a woman who impacted many, many lives; we love her and will miss her tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roger "Wayne" Norris; daughter Tina Therese Lipp; father Frances Joseph Sever; mother Esther Ruth Sever; and sister, Marthel Ruth Rogers.

Carol is survived by her son, Ronnie Sullivan, and daughter Pauline Johnson (husband Doug); grandchildren Kyle Johnson (wife Leah), Sydney Johnson, Tierra Norris and Sarah Lipp; great-grandchildren Abel, Kendal and Lacey Kay Johnson; and her brother, George Sever (wife Nancy).
