Coeur d'Alene's very own Red Hot Mamas will present their "Classic Rock 'n Roll Show" from 5:30-6 p.m. Friday, just prior to the Car d'Lane Cruise in downtown Coeur d'Alene. It is a progressive show beginning at Second Street and Sherman Avenue and moving east to end at Seventh Street. The performance includes rock and roll classics and audience participation.

"This will be a great time for people to come downtown, grab a snack, and enjoy this high-energy family-oriented show to get ready to watch the car cruise," said Red Hot Mama Karen Welts.

The Red Hot Mamas have been providing musical comedy entertainment to the community and beyond for more than 25 years. Members range in age from 30-ish to 70-something.

They support community and charity events monthly and have appeared by invitation in two United States presidential inaugurations, two Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades, the London, England New Year's celebration and many other venues such as "Good Morning America," "The Today Show," MTV, ABC's "Nightline," Fiesta Bowl and Holiday Bowl.
