Shadow romp past winless Bellingham

SPOKANE - Chance Bukoski scored the go-ahead goal on an assist from former North Idaho College standout Adam Talley in the 56th minute, helping the Spokane Shadow past winless Bellingham United 4-1 in an Evergreen Premier League soccer match on Saturday night at Spokane Falls Community College.

Bukoski had a goal and assist for Spokane (5-1-2, 17 points), which moves past Wenatchee for third place in the league.

Halvor Mikkelsen, a former Sandpoint High standout, scored an unassisted goal in the 59th minute for Spokane.

Spokane, which played without former Coeur d'Alene High and current Gonzaga midfielder Graison Le - who was serving a one-game suspension for receiving a red card in the June 13 match against South Sound - travels to Vancouver next Saturday at 7 p.m.
