Patricia was born in Louisville, Ky., in 1932 to Dorothy Key-Zilhart and William Zilhart. She passed away on Mother's Day, May 10, 2015, while her daughters held her hands.

She was preceded in death by her soul mate, husband Sherl William Hopkins, in 1999. He promised her forever, he always kept his promises.

Patricia is survived by four children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank both the Creekside Memory Care Community and Hospice House of North Idaho for the wonderful care she received.

Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, at Forest Cemetery, 1001 N. Government Way, in Coeur d'Alene.

Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
