Kalispell police and fire departments responded Thursday morning to a crash near Glacier High School, where a Ford Escape struck and flipped on its side a Subaru that had attempted to take a left turn across traffic.

The driver of the Subaru was taken by ambulance to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with minor injuries after responders used a saw to remove the windshield of her vehicle and extricate her.

Police Sgt. Doug Overman said the call came in at 7:47 a.m.

The driver of the Subaru was turning left from Reserve Plaza onto Old Reserve Drive when the westbound Ford hit the driver’s side, flipping the other car onto its side.

The driver of the Ford was not injured.

Each vehicle had only one occupant.
