Sheriff's Office investigating fatal accidental shooting

HOT SPRINGS – The Sanders County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal accidental shooting outside of Hot Springs.

According to Sanders County Sheriff Tom Rummel, the shooting occurred Wednesday night around 9 p.m. on Little Bitterroot Road.

The Little Bitterroot Road is a back road between Hot Springs and Ronan.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
