WHITEFISH — It was an all-Glacier contest in the undefeated semifinal matchup at the Ed Gallo wood bat tournament on Friday.
The Glacier Twins A took on the Twins B squad with a championship bid on the line.
The Twins A wasted little time to start their scoring tear.
Glacier A scored nine runs in the first two innings, including a seven-run second inning on their way to a 12-1 mercy-rule victory.
Kyler Howke, Jayce Fagerland and Jesse Walburn each registered two hits for the Twins A. Howke finished with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
Vinny Smith was a perfect 1 for 1 from the plate.
Fagerland, Colten Parker and Tristin Steinwand each tallied two RBIs.
While the Twins B team only managed three hits in the contest, Nathan Hader came through with an RBI double. Teammates Bryce Fagerland and Cody Campbell also had hits for Glacier B.
The win puts the Twins A in the title game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
They’ll await the winner of Saturday’s consolation contests.
The Glacier 15u All-Stars battle Olympia Volkswagen at 1 p.m., and the winner will take on Glacier B at 4 for a chance to reach the championship.
There will be a tournament all-star game tonight at 7 p.m at Memorial Park.
