Mildred 'Mille' Wolcott, 78

Millie Wolcott passed away peacefully on February 20, 2015, in her home in Hayden, ID. She was born February 17, 1937, in Bradleyville, MO, to Ben and Ada Ginter.
Millie's family moved frequently as she grew up. She attended elementary school in Moscow, ID, and Walla Walla, WA, graduating from high school in 1955 from Milo Academy, Days Creek, OR.
Mille met and married her lifelong sweetheart, Roger, April 13, 1957, in Walla Walla, WA. Roger and Millie raised their three children in Salem, OR. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking, remodeling, designing and building with her husband most of the couple's homes. She worked many years as a nurse in Salem, OR, while raising and caring for the family.
Millie and Roger spent several years managing retirement homes, then went on to work in the construction offices of the facilities where Roger was the general contractor.
She is survived by her husband and the children: Dan Wolcott (Cheri) of Walla Walla, WA, Rocki Pardee (Stan) of Sandpoint, ID, and Joe Wolcott (Cheri) of Spokane, WA; seven grandchildren, three grandchildren in-laws, and eight great-grandchildren. Millie was preceded in death by seven of her siblings, and is survived by five siblings.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. 4th St., Coeur d'Alene, ID, 83814.
