Lessons of Yalta must be heeded

Any of you readers old enough to remember WWII will surely remember FDR at Yalta, and his remarks that Stalin was so paranoid that if we just gave him what he wanted we could deal with him.  

We all know how that turned out — 45 plus years of repressive control of Eastern Europe, and a divided Germany. And Eastern Europe and the Balkans were what we went to war to save.
