SANDPOINT — It would be easy for opposing teams to look at the Sandpoint boys golf team, see a lineup full of freshmen and sophomores, and think it might be easy pickings.

That would be a big mistake. Boasting competitive experience that belies their age, the young Bulldog boys team has its sights set on some state hardware, looking to improve on last year’s 7th place finish.

Anchoring the lineup will be freshman Jack Reeves and sophomore Dylan Dufenhorst, each of whom can go very low on any given round. The pair will anchor a team that head coach Tom Tharp readily admits is the best he’s ever coached.
