POST FALLS - If you are 16 to 18 years old, have quit high school or are at risk of dropping out, the Idaho Youth Challenge Academy offers education solutions.
The academy is accepting applications for its next class, which begins July 18.
At IDYCA, students can earn a year's worth of credits in five and a half months. It also can help students earn a GED or diploma.
The IDYCA will conduct a community forum on Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Post Falls National Guard Armory, 5453 E. Seltice Way.
Representatives will answer questions and assist students with the application process. Applications are also at www.idyouthchallenge.com.
Kootenai County Juvenile Probation has utilized the academy to assist probationers in achieving their academic and behavioral goals.
