College of Idaho swimming
Maryon, a junior from Lake City High, won the consolation final of the 200-yard butterfly in a school-record 1 minute, 52.25 seconds during the NAIA Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday in Oklahoma City, Okla. He also helped the 400 freestyle team finish sixth in a school record of 3:11.31. On Friday, Maryon broke his own school record in the 100 butterfly in 51.76 in the preliminaries.

Bayley, a junior from Lakeland High, finished second in the Puget Sound Invitational on Sunday, shooting a two-round 154 (75-79) at the Gold Mountain Golf Complex in Bremerton, Wash.
Erin Legel
Great Falls basketball
Legel, a 5-foot-5 junior guard from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the All-Frontier Conference first team. Legel started all 31 games for Great Falls (22-9), averaging 17.55 points per game (544 overall and ninth in the nation) and is 130 for 163 (79.8 percent) from the free throw line. Great Falls is hoping for an at-large berth to the NAIA tournament; bids will be announced today.

Orlandi, a 5-9 sophomore guard, was named to the All Frontier Conference second team, the league announced. Orlandi started all 31 games for the Warriors, averaging 13.06 points per game (405 overall) and is sixth in the nation in free throw shooting, making 89-of-106 overall (84 percent). Lewis-Clark State finished the regular season 21-10. LC-State is hoping for an at-large bids to the NAIA tournament; bids will be announced today.

Stangel, a sophomore from Lake City High, earned a win against Ohio State in the circle for the 19th ranked Huskies (25-4), allowing five hits, no earned runs and striking out two in a 5-4 win in Seattle on Sunday. Stangel is 7-1 with a 1.62 ERA in 12 games.
