The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating three theft suspects.

Case No. 14-26846

Oct. 7

The Hayden Walmart reported that a man was seen swapping bar code stickers from lesser price items and placing them on more expensive items in his cart. After he went through the self-checkout, the man was stopped at the door by Walmart security. He dropped his bags and ran from the store. The suspect is described as unshaven, white and in his late 20s or early 30s. At the time he was wearing a dark-colored blue or black shirt with “DC” on the front, blue jeans and a baseball hat.

Dec. 7

The Hayden Walmart reported that a man filled a shopping cart with approximately $1,144 worth of merchandise, and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The man was stopped by Walmart security at the exit but fled in an older model , possibly maroon colored Ford Expedition. The vehicle was missing a front license plate and displayed a temporary license tag in the rear window.

Case No. 15-01716

Jan. 23

The Hayden Walmart reported a man was contacted by Walmart security after he was seen by store staff trying to leave without paying for a Samsung 60-inch LED TV and multiple DVD’s. The man fled the store in a red Pontiac Grand Am, bearing stolen Idaho license plate K474562. He is described as white, between 30 and 40, about 5 feet 9 or 10 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds.
