"God of Carnage" opens March 27 and will run through April 12 at Modern Theater-Coeur d'Alene, 1320 E. Garden Ave.

Winner of three Tony Awards, "God of Carnage" is described as a complex comedy that is a study of the tension between civilized surface and savage instinct.

The conflict occurs on stage when two couples meet to discuss their children's playground altercation. Once the rum takes over and the queasy stomach kicks in, the gloves come off and diplomacy is thrown out the window.
