ROYAL CITY - There will be a taco feed and silent auction for the benefit of Royal City resident Linda Hebdon at the Royal High School cafeteria on Friday, March 27.

Hebdon was recently diagnosed with ampullary cancer, and she is undergoing chemotherapy. Friends who have organized this event are asking the community to help with medical and traveling expenses.

The dinner and silent auction will be held between 5-8 p.m. A $10 donation per plate is being asked.

Hebdon has lived in Royal City for 38 years. She and her husband Troy have raised their five children here, and she has worked for the Royal School District for 32 years.

"Let's get together and show her and her family how much love Royal City can give," organizer Kim Mead said.
