COEUR d'ALENE - A pre-trial hearing for Joseph Bekken has been delayed another 21 days to give authorities time to review new evidence in the case.

Bekken, the former financial aid director for North Idaho College, is charged with five felonies, including attempted misuse of public funds, attempted procurement of prostitution, burglary, using a computer in a scheme to defraud and bribery.

Bekken allegedly told police he used scholarship money in a attempt to procure sexual favors in an advertisement on Craigslist.

Police answered the ad, posing as a fake female NIC student, and eventually caught Bekken transferring funds into the fake student's account.

Another alleged victim has come forward, saying Bekken used federal financial aid dollars to pay her handsomely for nude photos, which could result in additional charges.

On Tuesday, prosecutors told the judge that a recent search warrant revealed 14,000 emails and text messages that must now be reviewed for more potentially illegal activity.

Since Bekken's arrest, his wife has filed for divorce, and Bekken has been released on bail while he awaits trial.
