Whitefish’s new professional baseball team has changed its name to the Glacier Outlaws to avoid any confusion with the University of Montana sports teams.

The team previously was named the Glacier Grizzlies with maroon colors.

The Outlaws released their new logo on Monday, which stays with the maroon and silver scheme.

The team is part of the newly formed Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League. The season begins in May with games played at Memorial Field.
