Superior resident killed in car crash

SOUTH DAKOTA - A Superior resident was killed in a car crash last week after his vehicle was struck by a garbage truck as he was apparently trying to execute a u-turn.

Keith Edward Stockard, 55, of Superior was driving his 1999 Ford Explorer on Highway 44 in Freeman, South Dakota at approximately 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 when his vehicle was struck by the truck.

Stockard was declared deceased after being transported to a local hospital. No further details were available at time of press.
