Vote for Whitefish's future

There is no question about the need to permanently protect our watershed, for now and for the future of our community.

The generosity of Stoltze, grants promised, and the past successes of the resort tax can make this opportunity a reality.

Bonding or an increase in water rates is out of the question. The taxes and burdens of utilities that have washed down to we homeowners have reached the maximum. While $6,800 an acre is not out of the market for this land, the cost to us is about $2,600 an acre.

So many communities in our part of the world wish they had this kind of opportunity. We cannot continue to let our lake be the increasing source of water for the golf course, Iron Horse and the city.

Vote for Whitefish’s future and pass the Haskill Basin project.
