Bigfork boys place 4th in golf opener

MISSOULA — Bigfork finished fourth and Eureka 10th in the boys team standings on Friday at the Loyola Invitational golf tournament.
Bigfork, 719, wound up 25 shots behind Townsend, which posted a winning total of 694.
Eureka checked in at 815.
Individually, Eureka”s Chase Bohne had the fourth best total, 83-82—165, in the two-day event. He was seven shots off the pace.
Townsend’s Jaden Graveley, 85-73—158, was the medalist.
Bigfork’s Joseph Potkonjak, 89-79—168, placed ninth.
Sadie Crippen of Loyola was the medalist for girls. She shot 75-81—156 to win by 11 shots.
