Tennis: Bulldogs boys top Columbia Falls

COLUMBIA FALLS — The Whitefish boys easily took their first tennis dual of the year, sweeping Columbia Falls on Thursday.
Max Smyley, Arsenije Gavric and Jack Brandt all won in two sets in singles matches for the Bulldogs. Nathan Fauth came back from a 6-4 loss in the first set against Columbia Falls’ Trevor Wick to win the final two sets 6-4, 6-3.
The Bulldogs lost just four games in three doubles matches, with the teams of Ryan Brown and Chaffin Ross, Austin Reese and Eric Holdhusen and Ethan Potthoff and Jack Kahle all winning in straight sets.
