EUREKA — Nolan Hofstee had the best throws in the shot put (43-1/2) and discus (146-4) while Christian Langston (11.36) and Bryant Little (5:20.83) turned in the fastest times in the 100 and 1,600, respectively, to lead the Eureka boys track squad at the Eureka Time Trials on Saturday.

Eureka also won the 400 relay and Brandon Conard took first place in the 110 hurdles (15.59).

Sean Opland of Troy won three events — 200 (22.79), triple jump (41-3 1/2) and the high jump (6-2).

In girls competition, Veronica Farrier of Bigfork doubled up with victories in the distance events —  the 1,600 (7:23.00) and 3,200 (16.08.65).

Bigfork’s Gabby Eaton took first place in the pole vault (8-0), Hailey Norrad won the high jump (4-9) and Bryn Morley had the fastest time in the 400 (1:01.17).

Bigfork also won the 1,600 relay.

Libby had two individual winners — Kyrsten Mossburg in the long jump (15-6) and Emily Mossburg in the triple jump (30-8).

Hailey Phillips of Plains was the meet’s other three-event winner. She had firsts in the 100 (16.05) and 300 (48.48) hurdles and 200 (26.58).
