ASOTIN, Wash. - Stephen Vaudreuil had a double and four RBIs in the first game and Dominic Conigliaro had three RBIs and struck out four in five innings of work in Lake City's 13-4 win over Asotin on Monday in nonleague play.

In the second game, Jordan Ross threw a 5-inning 1-hitter as the Timberwolves came away with a 11-0 victory and a doubleheader sweep.

Conigliaro added two more RBIs in the second game, tallying five on the day.

Reilly Cherry and Jarred Hall each knocked in a run in the first game, while Cody Garza (3), Parker Gabrielson (2), Wyatt Seaman (2) knocked in multiple runs apiece in Game 2.

"Their guy (Trimmell) threw well (in the first game)," Lake City coach Travis Georgius said. "He had a little velocity which was good for us to see entering league play next week. I thought our focus was much better than our last game and we played a full game.

"Dom had a good outing which was good to see from him on the mound finally."

Georgius added that Ross pitched well in the second game. "He got some run support, and it was good to see us come out strong in that game and not be flat."

Lake City (5-3) returns to action on April 6 at Lakeland High.
