COEUR d'ALENE - The One Lakeside condominium property has been blocked by fencing for the better part of a year, but the owner says the project is likely to get started this spring.

Greg Hills, owner of One Lakeside, said the company is in the process of finalizing the finances on the project, but the goal is the break ground toward the end of May.

"That has been a challenge," he said. "So that date could get pushed out a month or two."

The 14-story One Lakeside condominium tower was scheduled to begin construction in September of 2014, said Kurt Lundblad in an interview last June. Lundblad, who is the lead real estate agent on the project, has built a showroom at the Beutler and Associates Century 21 Building to showcase the condo layout.

The room is a replica of what the units at One Lakeside will look like. Lundblad said the project will consist of 64 units that will be priced from $370,000 to $2 million each.

"We have everything from one-bedroom units to the penthouse on top," he said last summer.

Lundblad could not be reached for comment Monday.
