Women Creating Success event scheduled next month

It's billed as an all-day conference that is both educational and motivating to today's business women.

The community is invited to attend the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce's "Women Creating Success" conference scheduled for June 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn.

The conference will feature Jennifer Ferch, Chief Operating Officer of NBC Camps, the largest overnight basketball and volleyball camp program in the world. A professional and motivational speaker for more than 20 years, Ferch will speak on "Uncommon Leadership - Powerful strategies to rise above adversity."

Later in the day, Kay LeClaire, the oldest woman in the world to successfully climb the Seven Summits, will share her experience about her "Journey to the top of the world."

Registration is required for any business or individual wishing to attend and must be received by June 15. The registration fee, which includes lunch, is $59/person for chamber members and $79/person for non-members. The chamber is currently looking for supporting and exhibitor sponsors.
