ROYAL CITY - Royal High School remained unbeaten in SCAC East boys and girl track and field last week with a sweep of Kiona-Benton in a meet at River View.

The boys won, 85-54. The girls prevailed, 82-68.

Maggie Delay and Kay Lester led the girls with four and three individual triumphs respectively. Joe Lang won three times for the boys.

Other outstanding efforts were turned in by Victor Garcia, Salvador Horta and Gracelynn Miller. Miller won two events, was on a winning relay and a runner-up relay.

The Knights will continued the dual meet season on Tuesday, May 5. That meet should determine the league championship. The Knights will be scoring against Wahluke, River View and Connell.
