Whitefish in Outside magazine's Best Town contest

Whitefish is one of 65 towns across the U.S. in the running to be named Outside magazine’s Best Town of 2015.
The tournament-style bracket is made up of 60 towns selected by Outside editors and four “wild card” entries.
Over the next six weeks, people can vote online for their favorite towns.
The magazine will feature the top 16 towns in its September issue.
The 64 towns are grouped by region in seeded brackets.
Whitefish is in the West bracket and faces off with Fort Bragg, Calif. in the first round. As of May 6, Whitefish led with 12,627 votes compared to 3,232 for Fort Bragg.
Towns in the West bracket include Ashland, Ore., Bainbridge Island, Wash., Flagstaff, Ariz., Fort Bragg, Calif., Glenwood Springs, Colo., Hilo, Hawaii, Juneau, Alaska, Las Vegas, Ogden, Utah, Pagosa Springs, Colo., Santa Barbara, Calif., Santa Fe, N.M., Sheridan, Wyo., Victor, Idaho, Whitefish and wild card Port Angeles, Wash.
