Mike Benson of Lonepine, fishes under the light of a halo around the rising sun near Yellow Bay on Thursday, May 7, on Flathead Lake. Benson has won top honors in three of the Mack Days Tournaments and been in the top five in 15 of them. Mack Days is a biannual fishing tournament that takes place weekends in the spring and fall.
