Man dies at Glacier Park lodge

Glacier National Park officials report that a local contractor died of natural causes while working on a carpet installation project at the Lake McDonald Lodge.
Park dispatch received a call on Saturday, May 9, at about 1:30 p.m. regarding an unconscious male at the lodge. Rangers responded to find a 68-year old male from Whitefish unresponsive and not breathing.
The rangers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life-saving measures, but the man was declared deceased through medical control and Three Rivers EMS Ambulance and Rescue personnel.
