14U Plains win in overtime

PLAINS - Starting at 10:00am, Saturday, the Plains 14 and Under Plains battled against the Charlo Lady Vikings at the Plains field.
The first inning went to Plains, who scored 2 runs at the bottom.
During the second inning, Plains held Charlo from scoring any runs, but were unable to make any themselves.
In the third inning, Charlo tied it up 2-2.
Plains came back in the fourth inning and finished the inning, 3-2.
Neither team scored in the fifth inning or in the sixth.
Then in the seventh, Charlo caught up scoring a run and a tie breaker had to be played.
The rules stated that during a tie breaker, a new inning would be played, but each team would start out with two outs and the last runner to go would be on second.
Two tie breaker innings were played until at the bottom of the second one, Plains scored a run, making them the winner 4-3.

Hot Springs - The community of Hot Springs came together Saturday afternoon to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Although the Chinese New Year was actually Thursday the 19th, the town decided to move their celebrations to Saturday.
