Bulldogs dominate in league play

The Whitefish boys team finished league play this spring with a clean sweep, going 8-0 over the competition.

Whitefish won all four singles matches in two sets Saturday against Polson in a Northwestern A dual. The No. 3 doubles team of Jack Brandt and Austin Reese lead the Bulldogs with the only win on the doubles side.

The Bulldogs also beat Libby, 4-3 on Saturday.

Whitefish’s Eric Holdhusen had a strong finish in No. 3 singles defeating Libby’s Kody Bailey in two sets. In singles, Bulldogs Nathan Fauth and Cole Turgeon also pulled off wins over Libby.

Whitefish’s No. 2 doubles team of Ryan Brown and Chaffin Ross defeated Libby’s Ryan Nagle and Gabe Peck in two sets to lead on the doubles side.

Whitefish heads to Libby this weekend for the Northwest A divisional tournament.
