Coeur d’Alene I read Hobart Jenkins’ letter to the editor that appeared in the Sunday paper. Too bad he was misinformed as to what Ms. Meyer said at the candidates’ meeting in Bayview. What she did say was before Hobe moved to Bellevue several years ago, she met with him to gather some insight as to how the board operated. She NEVER said, or even insinuated, that he had endorsed her.

However, there are many folks in Bayview who do support both Ms. Sharon Meyer and Mr. Steve May who are running for the two open positions on the Bayview Water and Sewer District. They are making history as their candidacy has brought about the first open election held by the incumbent board. It is high time!
