George William Krueger, 84

George William Krueger, 84, passed away on May 2, 2015, at Ivy Court in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He was born on April 22, 1931, in Minden, Iowa, to Adolf and Effie Lee Krueger.
George met JoAnn Wood in 1975. They were married for 18 years. He and JoAnn had two daughters, Tanya and Lucinda, and a son, Jerry.
Before he met JoAnn, George also had children from two previous marriages who include Kelly and Rachel Krueger, and Neva, James and George Wayne Krueger of Missouri.
George was a veteran of the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge.
George loved to cook, loved the outdoors and wilderness, and always liked fishing, hunting and mushroom picking. He was a tinkerer and fixer-upper. If it was broke, he would find a way to fix it. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and small engine repairman.
George was a gentle, calm and kind father, uncle, grandpa and friend to many. He was always very patient and helpful.
He was preceded in death by his son, George Wayne Krueger; brothers Chuck Krueger and Wayne Krueger; and niece, Alice Cain.
Survivors include his ex-wife and longtime friend, JoAnn Krueger; daughters Tanya Gosser and husband Don, Lucinda Krueger and fiance Josh Stewart, and son Jerry Wood, all of Post Falls, Idaho; grandchildren: Kyle Krueger and fiance Cheyenne Lingle; Domanick, Breanna and Autumn Gosser; Destiny, Jenica and Brayden Wood; JadeAnn Grindle, Payton and Channing Stewart; and great-granddaughter Mia Krueger, all of Post Falls; and numerous other family members in Washington and Missouri.
George will be remembered and missed by all.
A family service will be held at a later date.
The family would also like to thank all the staff at Ivy Court for his care for the last seven years.
